Harry read Law (LLB) at Middlesex University and graduated in July 1995. He completed his LPC (Legal Practice Course) at The College of Law, Store Street, London in July 1996. He was then fortunate enough immediately to secure a Training Contract with a High Street practice, which he successfully completed in August 1998.
Harry qualified as a solicitor on 3rd August 1998 and became a partner in my own firm on the very same day and continued this Partnership until May 2004 when he set up HSR Solicitors himself with two salaried partners within the same premises.
Harry is the Franchise Supervisor for the Criminal Department and specialises in Criminal Defence work. He is a qualified duty solicitor and regularly appears before the local Magistrates’ Court and police stations. He has trained many lawyers, Police Station Representatives and Paralegals over the years. He is a member of the Law Society Accreditation Scheme and the Criminal Law Solicitors Association.
Harry successfully achieved membership of the VHCC Panel (Very High Costs Cases Panel) enabling him to deal with the country’s most complex criminal cases.
He has experience in and successfully defended a wide range of criminal offences ranging from Murder & Serious Violent offences, Serious Fraud, drugs offences, Proceeds of Crime (POCA) and Road Traffic Offences. Harry has a particular interest and knowledge in cases involving Steroids and has represented various body builders across the country.
Throughout his career, Harry has represented defendants nationally from Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Leicester, Exeter, Bristol, Norwich as well as London. He has been involved in many high profile cases and has represented some well-known actors and Sportsmen. Harry also represented one of the defendant’s in the first “Super-grass” case in the country, which was featured in the BBC programme – ‘Panorama’. He was involved with many cases in the Tottenham Riots in August 2011. Harry has also been involved in a number of Extradition cases and acted for clients in international jurisdictions such as Finland and Germany, involving multi-million-pound frauds (carousel fraud).
Harry has managed to obtain many acquittals for numerous defendants and has built himself an impeccable reputation with clients, colleagues and the Courts. He is highly regarded by senior barristers, Queens Counsel and many Judges and is often recommended for his dedication and perseverance. Due to his reputation for ‘going the extra mile’, he has built a wide and very impressive client base.
Harry is an active member of the Society of Asian Lawyers and was responsible for arranging and organising the Social events for many years.
