Steven Ames
Consultant Solicitor and Higher Courts Advocate
Steven read Philosophy BA at Kings College London and later Law at the University of East London and completed his LPC (Legal Practice Course) at The College of Law. He secured a training contract with a High Street practice which he completed in 2004. Steven subsequently qualified as a Duty Solicitor. Steven then gained Higher Courts Qualification (all proceedings) allowing him to conduct advocacy in the Crown Court and the High Court.
Steven has many years of experience in serious criminal cases, preparation and advocacy, he frequently exercises his Higher Rights in the Crown Court at all stages of proceedings including jury trials. He has a varied case load and has represented numerous clients in court for Robbery, GBH, ABH, Arson, Murder, Conspiracy, Firearms and Drug possession.
